Casa Marie - Best Villa Ever (23-Jun-2024)

This is our 10th time renting a villa in Lanzarote and I can safely say Cara Marie is by far the best villa we have stayed in over the last 7 years!!! All other villa were lovely but Casa Marie is definitely 5 star. Huge outside space with 3 different shaded seating areas, they are so comfy. The pool is huge and heated so you can enjoy morning to night. Plenty sun loungers and wee tables and the outside towels are supplied for you. Inside the villa is stunning, it’s open planned and modern with all you could want. The sofa in the living area is really comfy and all the Sky channels you have at home . The kitchen has everything you could think of, the ice machine on the freezer was ideal and the filtered tap a godsend, no lugging bottles of water from the supermarket. The bedrooms are a great sizes and beds are super comfy. The location of the villa is ideal, 7 min stroll to all the restaurants and bars and supermarkets. Marie was lovely from initial contact and made the booking process simple. She was on hand for any question before and during our stay, so lovely and friendly. I cannot rave enough about this villa, it’s 1 class.

Would fully recommend this villa it is absolutely beautiful. It is lovely and spacious and fully equipment. The pool was lovely a clean and warm ideal for sunbathing. Great location 10 min walk from many lovely restaurants. Marie was amazing and really helpful with quick responses to any questions. Will definitely be returning.

Casa Marie - Amazing villa (02-Mar-2024)

We booked this villa as a last minute break for 4 of us desperate to get away for some sun. Marie responded to our queries immediately and made the booking process very simple. The villa was amazing …. We could not fault any of it. We honestly did not want to leave. Very central yet very quiet. Best of everything in the villa and the outside area was the nicest we have had in any of the previous villas we have stayed in. 4 huge bedrooms, 2 of which go out directly to the pool area. The living and kitchen area was the biggest we have seen. Marie also gave us some amazing recommendations of where to eat. We will definitely be booking again.

Villa Marie - Home from home and more! (28-Feb-2024)

We have recently returned from our second wonderful stay in Villa Marie. The villa is located in a extremely quiet residential area of Playa Blanca and only a few minutes walk to the front. It has everything you may need for a fantastic holiday. It has amazing sea views from the specially made roof top. Marie is always extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We are due back in October and have also booked for next March. We can't wait to get back and have another relaxing week in Playa Blanca. Family members are due to stay in the villa over Easter. The children can't wait to jump into the swimming pool! Thanks Marie for another brilliant holiday.

Villa Marie - Fantastic in every way!! (12-Feb-2024)

What can i say............just excellent!! Everything about this villa is just perfect, and then some. From my first contact in enquiring about the villa until the day we left 2 weeks later, everything was just what we wanted. The outdoor areas are perfect for al fresco dining and relaxing in the sun. The pool was kept exceptionally clean during our stay and was a welcome sight for cooling off in. The villa is sited in a lovely peaceful area of Los Calamares and is within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants etc. Everything has been thought of and this completely enhanced our stay. Thank you Marie and Mark, we will be back!!

This was our second fabulous holiday this year, staying in Mark & Marie’s villas. The Villa was exceptional, just like a home from home. we had everything we needed and more. We are a family of four, with a son of 18 and a daughter of 14 so we really appreciated the 3 bedrooms and en suite bathrooms which suited us. Our favourite place was the rooftop sun terrace for watching the sunrise and sunsets. The children loved the heated pool which is always welcome at this time of year. The Villa is in a perfect location, 10 minutes walk from the nearest beach and centre - also a short stroll from Playa Dorada beach. We will definitely be visiting Playa Blanca again, & would always book with Mark & Marie. We couldn’t have wished for anything more during our stay.

Casa Marie - A relaxing time in Los Calamares (24-Sep-2023)

After a long journey, we all wowed as the gate opened to Casa Marie and on seeing the huge pool area & grand entrance in arrival we knew we were in for a good week. Access to the property was easy & the vast amount of room made it easy to store our stuff. The furnishings are top end. Marie & Mark have equipped it with everything you need & more. We used the bbq area too after a day by the pool but also visited the bars & good restaurants only a 10 minute walk away. The bus transfer back to the airport was only €3.30 each too. The week went much to fast for us all & we cannot wait to come back. Thank you.

Casa Marie - Excellent (16-Sep-2023)

All 6 of our party agreed this is the best villa to date we have stayed at. The photos really don’t do the villa justice and the location superb, just a short walk to the old town. The villa has been renovated to a very high standard and Marie could not have been more helpful ahead of or during our stay. Everything has been thought of. Even the little things like sufficient clothes hangers and pool towels. We will definitely return.

Villa Marie - A relaxing stay in a lovely villa (07-Sep-2023)

This is the third time we have stayed in the Los Calamares area as it is a quiet area, within walking distance of a supermarket, shops and restaurants. We have enjoyed our 2 weeks relaxing in the very well equipped villa; for anyone doing the full villa experience there is everything you could possibly want, we went out every evening visiting the local restaurants. There is a good size pool with lots of sitting areas for relaxing, the sunbeds are really good quality and have thick mats, a real bonus was the provision of pool towels and an umbrella which was very useful. The bed was really comfortable and the bathrooms were excellent, being large and having good showers. The air conditioning was very useful and was economical to use. All communications with Marie, the owner, was exceptional from the first enquiry to contact whilst we were at the villa. A full information pack was emailed prior to our arrival. We had a couple of issues during our stay but these were rectified very quickly by Marie. Highly recommend this villa and would like to stay again.

I was fortunate to be in Playa Blanca last July/August at the same time as Marie and Mark, a fabulous, friendly couple. I enquired about this villa. They very kindly invited me to view the villa, which was a work in progress. It was clear to see that when finished this was going to be amazing. But when myself and family arrived at Casa Marie, WOW WOW WOW we was overwhelmed. It exceeded all expectations. Casa Marie is stunning, spectacular, spacious , superb. Marie and Mark have thought of everything, hairdryers, pool towels, filtered water, loads of seating areas, everything you need for fabulous holiday. The outside space and pool is huge, very private. Four large bedrooms with the most comfortable beds, loads of storage space. A huge lounge with a very comfortable high quality sofa and chairs, and a 65 inch tv which has sports channels could watch my football, a bonus. A massive kitchen with all the equipment you need and more. Nobody wanted to venture out, it was so hard to get the family to leave this amazing villa, and to see parts of Playa Blanca, but we did.. The location is great only 5mins to supermarket and the start of town. Really central to all of Playa Blanca. We have stayed in lots of villas in different places, including Playa Blanca and this villa is by far the best. I could go on and on, but no amount of words or pictures will ever do this fantastic villa the justice it deserves. It truly is a little piece of paradise. Marie is so friendly and helpful was super quick to reply to my many questions. Thank you for all your help and for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Casa Marie - Amazing villa with fantastic outdoor space (07-Aug-2023)

We were a party of 8 including two children. The whole villa has a real WOW factor about it. The outdoor space is amazing. Mark & Marie have chosen the perfect seated areas and the pool is a great size. The villa itself is very luxurious and exceeded all expectations. Every detail has been considered from the hairdryers, pool towels to the water filter in the fridge which was a god send! We also loved the pool and the pool room. The villa is in a great position, being only a short walk from the town and beaches. We would love to go back in the future.

There are really not enough superlatives to describe how fabulous Casa Marie is. We have just come back from a wonderful holiday at this villa. It is immaculate and has been renovated to a fabulous standard. It is by far the nicest villa we have ever stayed at. The attention to detail by the owners is fantastic, it feels like they really have thought of everything down to the BBQ utensils laid out by the BBQ ready for use! The villa is in a really central location so it was easy to walk everywhere we needed to go. Finally, a big thank you to Marie, the owner, who was a pleasure to deal with. She was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. We will most certainly be back to stay at your wonderful villa.

Casa Marie - Simply the best, better than all the rest! (17-Jun-2023)

What a beautiful and contemporary villa this is! The restoration by the owners has been completed to the very highest standards imaginable, and more importantly, the owners are lovely, they have a great eye for detail and nothing is too much trouble for them. The pool area is south facing, private and perfect for relaxation, whilst a 5 minute walk takes you to the lovely beaches, shops and restaurants in Playa Blanca. Inside, the lounge furniture is just heavenly, the kitchen has every utensil you need and the beds are very comfortable. And there’s so much more that is great - the pool table for some healthy gaming competition, the electric gates for privacy, the games supplied in the snug, the list just goes on. When we return to Lanzarote, there is simply only one place to stay, we’ll all be back soon! x

It's really a villa that ticks the boxes and meets the expectations that you could have got from the description and photo's: It's spacious, private, well equipped, The beds are comfortable, The nearest to town that we ever stayed in. The biggest supermarkets are just a few minutes walk away, The pool is just marvellous, big and lovely heated . Marie was very helpful and kind.

Villa Marie - An amazing villa in Los Calamares (26-Apr-2023)

Just back from a weeks holiday staying in Villa Marie, wished it had been longer. We arrived late at night and was so pleased to find everything you need to make a cup of tea/coffee and some amazing chocolates. The villa was everything we had expected and more. It was so handy to have filtered water and the air conditioning in the bedroom was definitely a plus. The weather was hot and it was lovely to sleep in a cool room and we found it very cheap to run. The location is spot on, it's just a 5 minute walk to the shops and beach. We found the villa really comfortable and extremely quiet, just what we wanted. The terrace is amazing, it has plenty of sun loungers and the pool was a god send. The TV package was great it had plenty of music/film channels and hubby was very happy with the sports channels. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it to our friends and family. A big thank you to Marie for making the perfect holiday.

We would totally recommend the villa and its great surroundings. A totally secure area, with great outdoor space and a large pool. No more than 10 minute walk to the town, restaurants and bars. 30 minutes max drive from the airport.

Casa Marie - Top Quality Villa with an Amazing Pool! (17-Apr-2023)

So the only problem with reviewing this Villa is everything is so fantastic about it that I could just type forever, So I'm going to do a short summary: This is the best Villa I have ever stayed in (and I've stayed in a lot of very nice villas!) with so much room, nothing is cramped or compromised and everything is amazing!

And for those that want to know a bit more, heres my full review:

When I booked this Villa I had high expectations, the pictures looked lovely and the description was of a very nice place, but little did I realize just how far from the real experience the photos and descriptions are. Words can not describe how fantastic this villa is, everything is so clean and to the very highest standards, from the settee in the front room with its super comfy sofa and to die for armchair that you just sink into to the massive kitchen, that took me 3 days to walk from one end to the other! (that might be a slight exaggeration, but it is huge!!!) The whole place is light and airy and we got lost so many times the first day just trying to get our bearings! the bedrooms are just perfect, the two main rooms are big comfy double beds that you just want to stay in, so comfortable and again of the highest quality. Three of the 4 bedroom have on suits again with loads of room, none of the bedrooms are small and mine even had a extra area with a desk for my laptop and a computer chair, But all that falls into insignificance when we compare it to the outside area, the most comfortable patio sofas and chairs I’ve ever sat on and so many, there are about three completely separate areas to sit in the shade, and more sun loungers than I could count, all top quality and supper cosy. and the best part is the pool, OMG its huge, I think is 25m x 15m but it’s by far the biggest pool I've ever had, and it's just great. I did not want to get out of the pool and with heating and pool lighting even an evening swim was inviting. The owners have put so much thought into this villa, from the non-slip tiled floors that extend out around the entire villa inside and out, to the 65" TV, everything is just wonderful. The location is just as nice, the entire pool / outside area is completely private, you are not overlooked at all, the high walls give total privacy. Whilst neighbours change and there is not a lot anyone can do about them, we found the location to be totaly quiet and very peaceful. The villa is only a short distance from Centro, taxi was about 4euros and to walk it takes just a few minutes (5-15 depending on how fast you walk) The supermarket was just 5 minute's walk away. If you are looking for a great villa to enjoy a fantastic holiday, this is it. I will probably never book anywhere else again! (As in, I’m coming back here from now on, not I've given up going on holiday! lol) A truly magnificent experience.

It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Marie for my stay, she was very helpful, flexible, accommodating, great information pack provided and answered any queries I had quickly. This villa is just amazing, high spec, lots of space, and has everything you need. A lovely heated pool, sunbeds and towels provided, BBQ and loads of outdoor space and seating. In a lovely quiet residential area, with just a 10 min walk to shops and restaurants, it is ideally located. Couldn't have asked for anything better both from a villa point of view and owners.

Casa Marie - Amazing newly refurbished villa in a great location (19-Feb-2023)

We had a fantastic holiday, this spacious villa is finished to a very high standard - everything is immaculate, very modern, clean and beautifully decorated. Great facilities - coffee machine, TV, safe, washing machine etc. The outside area is amazing, large heated pool, lots of seating areas and a spacious terrace with a BBQ and outdoor kitchen area. The children loved the separate games room. The owners were always on hand if needed, very helpful and informative. This is by far the best villa we have stayed in on Los Calamares and we were all sad to be going home. Hopefully we will return again soon.

Casa Marie - Magnificent villa in a Lovely holiday town (23-Jan-2023)

My wife and I have stayed in many holiday villas over the years but nothing as good as this. Massive and beautifully presented in everyway. It has been refurbished to the highest standard. Spacious, luxurious lounge with 65 inch TV and all the channels, huge dining kitchen with all the equipment needed for self catering. Vast outside area with loungers, large heated pool, games room and outside kitchen/diner with built in BBQ. The 4 bedrooms have brand new beds and fittings and en-suite walk-in showers. I could go on but I have nearly run out of space here. Fantastic.

Villa Marie - A thoroughly relaxing week (05-Sep-2022)

We arrived at Villa Marie late at night by taxi from the airport, villa was easy to find, Nice to be greeted with tea, coffee & drinks in the fridge ready for us. On getting up for the sunrise the views blew us away from the villa terrace. The Villa smelt amazing, was super clean & even provided us with both villa & beach towels. Everything you need is here, we had toasties for lunch daily and a cool glass of vino or two in the evening. The pool was warm & the sea a 10 minute walk away. Food was cheap compared to the UK, definitely want to come back here. A thoroughly relaxing holiday.

2nd stay at Villa Marie.... Brilliant again and have already booked for 2023... Nothing to complain about.. One of the best locations for town centre which is only a 5 min stroll away.. Just returned from an 11 night stay at Villa Marie & have to say I wish we could have stayed longer. You can tell a lot of thought & consideration has gone into what the owners feel their guests require. Loved everything about the villa, beds & pillows so comfortable, so well equipped, lovely outdoor areas & furniture, so comfortable. Pool & pool area really good, pool cleaned regularly. We always stay in villas for our holidays & have to say Villa Marie is the best one we have stayed in but the star has to be the owner, Marie. Communication was outstanding & Marie is so considerate, really went the extra mile for us! Thank you Marie for everything & allowing us the privilege to stay at your lovely home!

Villa Marie is a lovely property, in a fantastic location near all local amenities. The villa itself is very well maintained with everything you need. Very clean and nice decor. The outside space is amazing, with 3 separate sitting areas, so you never feel you are under each others feet. As well as a good sized pool and space for sun loungers. Will definitely book again.

Villa Marie - 50th birthday break (28-May-2022)

We stayed in Los Calamares before and its location is excellent. Very quiet area, and also only 10 minutes walk to town. Villa Marie was brilliant, from the bedrooms and bathrooms, to the heated pool and roof terrace. Everything you need is here, and only a short walk to the big supermarket for supplies. Would definitely stay here again.

Villa Marie - Home from Home Bliss (17-Mar-2022)

We have just returned from our week long stay a Villa Marie. Communication with the villa owner was great from our first enquiry, to throughout our stay. We did not need anything during our time there, but just the fact they checked in via email, was comforting as we knew they would be available should we need them. First impressions on arrival were of what a great location the villa was in, a quite residential estate just a few minutes walk from Playa Blanca town centre. When we entered the property we were delighted to see that it matched up to, and even exceeded our expectations from the advertisement. The living room was spacious, the extra tv a god send, as our son brought his switch console which he could hook up to the tv in the evenings, while we caught up on our favourite programs. The beds were very comfortable, and the showers fantastic. There were plenty of coat hangers In the wardrobes and drawers for all of our belongings. Out the back was the most glorious pool (heated during the winter) the pool has steps into it rather than a ladder, so easy access for anyone with mobility issues. The outdoor garden furniture and sun loungers were really comfortable and offered numerous areas to sit out and enjoy the beautiful Playa Blanca sunshine. About 5 minutes walk maximum to the nearest supermarket. Also only 5 minutes to the bus station - meaning bus transfer from airport would probably be a very easy option. Approx 8 minutes to main shopping area and Playa Blanca town beach with it's many restaurants. There is also a small playground, and football pitch / basketball court about 8 minutes from the villa in a new pedestrianized area. I would have no hesitation recommending this property to family or friends and will definitely be returning myself.

Villa Marie - Delightful stay in Playa Blanca (03-Mar-2022)

Two couples spent 9 nights here at the villa from 3rd March 2022. Villa lovely and clean. Love heated pool and cleaned regularly. Brilliant layout of villa. Lots of outdoor seating. Quiet private location. Easy walk to the beach with plenty of restaurants and bars. Will definitely come here again. Contact with Marie excellent and very helpful. Felt like I know her through our emails!!!

Villa Marie - A great place to stay (12-Feb-2022)

We had a fantastic week in this lovely villa. Very central for the supermarket and lovely restaurants. A nice walk to the Marina Rubicon where there are plenty of shops and eating places. Would definitely recommend this villa. The owner was very attentive and very easy to contact.

The villa is within 15 mins walk of the main area for restaurants. Layout is well designed and equiped. Owner responded really quickly to any questions and resolved a few minor problems asap (eg the key would not open the tennis court....lock corroded but fixed the following day.)

Villa Marie - Villa Marie November 2021 (02-Nov-2021)

We have stayed here many times and each time the experience gets better. The owners seem to continually improve an already excellent property. The whole place is up to the highest of standards from lounge, kitchen, bedrooms, en suites and heated pool. We intend visiting twice in 2022.

Villa Marie - Great villa in Playa Blanca (01-Nov-2021)

We loved staying here. Villa is an easy and short walk into town, being in the popular Los Calamares area. Great outdoor space, with loads of outdoor seating options and an excellent rooftop terrace, where you can not only get nice views but benefit from the breeze on those hot sunny days (which is most of them). Pool was great for a cooling dip and you can see that the whole villa has been upgraded since the new owners bought it (in 2019 I think). 2 of the bedrooms are en-suite so everyone of the three bedrooms basically has their own bathroom (helpful with teenagers!). We love Playa Blanca- small enough to be able to cover easily (even out to the marina) but with plenty of restaurant choices. Really highly recommend this villa and the town for a great holiday.

Villa Marie possesses all you need for a wonderful holiday. The villa is modern with high quality furnishings both inside and out. The exterior is also very private. Every convenience you would require is supplied and only a short walking distance to the Playa Blanca town and beach! This villa surpassed our expectations! Marie the owner is lovely and could.not be more helpful, especially given the circumstances with COVID. You could tell that she cares that your experience is a great one, Thanks Marie! We will definitely be returning.

Villa Marie - Great villa in ideal location (25-Sep-2021)

Just returned after a wonderful week in Playa Blanca and we couldn't have wished for a better villa. Whilst it's situated in a peaceful location, it's also really convenient for the bars and restaurants of the seafront, just a ten minute stroll away. The pool and outside seating areas were superb and the spacious interior was perfect for our party of three couples. All this in addition to the kindness of Marie, the owner, who was most considerate, makes for a perfect package.

Villa Marie - Fantastic Villa (05-Nov-2020)

We visited Villa Marie during the October school holidays 2020, Family of 5. The villa has been refurbished to a fantastic standard, very modern throughout, nice new furniture and has everything you need, very spacious with room for everyone a real home from home feel to it. We all loved the private and secluded pool and outside areas, with various places to relax and enjoy the weather, including the roof terrace with panoramic sea views. The children were all happy with Wi-Fi throughout. The lounge area is comfortable with a large flat screen TV and English channels, the bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The position of the villa is in our opinion the best within Playa Blanca, easy walk to the main resort restaurants, bars and lovely Dorada beach. Marie the owner could not be more helpful, a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, great communication and lots of information about the villa and location and nice welcome pack on arrival.

What a find. We have rented properties all over the world and this is one of the best. The photographs don't tell you the whole story. As soon as you enter the villa there is a family feel about it. The villa is in a very quiet cul de sac and is only a ten minute into Playa Blanca. The sky package was a blessing as we unfortunately got caught up in the recent problems. The patio area/ swimming pool is a real sun trap with the sun shining fro 9am to 6pm in that area. Inside every thing is supplied by the owner. Marie was great to rent from and was very helpful if we had any questions. I would have no problem in going back to this villa and would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed here In August 2019 for 2 weeks. Family of 4 with 2 teenagers. This villa is lovely. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The villa is spacious and very clean. The new owners are in the process of making improvements to the villa and outdoor area so it can only get better and better. It is a pleasant walk away from shops, Center and beaches. We didn’t use the pool and tennis courts as went to the beach each day. The kitchen has everything you need in it should you wish to cook. Along with dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge area is comfortable and spacious with TV and many English channels to watch. The bedrooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. There is lots of storage space in each room. Bath and pool towels are provided. The outdoor terraces and seating areas are lovely and again spacious. The roof terrace is a special treat with gorgeous relaxing views over Lanzarote. The villa has lots of space and areas to relax as a family but is also spacious enough to have your own space. The owner Marie is very friendly and excellent at communication and from the moment we booked she was on hand to answer any questions. A comprehensive pack was emailed telling us everything we needed to know about the Villa and the surrounding areas. The was a welcome pack provided in the villa with coffee, tea, wine, biscuits etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this villa again should we return to Playa Blanca.

Villa Marie - Mrs (02-Oct-2019)

Fabulous accommodation, excellent location. Only 4 days in but we are having a great holiday. Def recommend close to supermarket, 5 min walk to town and short stroll to sea front xx
